Temple Bar located on the south bank of the River Liffey, central Dublin ( Ireland ) has become Dublin's Art and Cultural quarter with its Galleries, Cultural institutions, Outdoor Entertainment and Street Performers.
Temple Bar has had a very colourful history and retains that charm with its buildings and cobbled streets.
They say it was named after the Temple Family ( Sir William Temple) who lived in the area in the 17th century.
The nightlife is fantastic for the locals and tourists with its restaurants, nightclubs, street entertainment, pubs and bars including the Temple Bar established in 1840.
