Saint Mary's by the sea is a fully restored 1880 historic church and one of the last buildings of its age left in Port Douglas. The restored non-denominational church was relocated from its hills site to its location next to Anzac Park on the foreshore in 1988. The large glass window behind the alter offers fantastic views of the coral sea to the mountains. The church is a must see for its beauty, stainglass windows, location and views.
