North Haven in South Australia is situated approx. 21Km North West of Adelaide.
It boasts one of the best beaches in Adelaide, approx. 1Km long protected by the southern breakwater at one end and Outer Harbour breakwater at its northern end.
The North Haven Marina is well protected from the weather giving many a sailor refuge. In the northern basin, Crown Marina Development,
There is excellent public transport from Adelaide direct to North Haven and adjoining Outer Harbour where many a Cruiseliner docks with its passengers that come to enjoy South Australian hospitality during the Summer months.
North Haven has a neat precinct of shops and cafes, including The Sailmaster Taven, Chinese Restaurant.
Its a pleasure to walk around the marina stopping for an occasional chat with other residents and watch the Dolphins play and feed in the marina. This gives the atmosphere of a holiday resort all year round.
Most people call North Haven "North Heaven".
The North Haven Marina because of its location can be so spectacular with its sunrises and sunsets throughout the year, everyday can be different.
