The Q1 is located in Surfers Paradise and is a super skyscraper.
When opened in November 2005 was titled as the world's tallest residential tower but since been bypast by the Marina Torch in Dubai on 29th April 2011.
From May 2012 it became the fifth tallest .
The Q1 is the tallest building in Australia and the Southern Hemisphere when measured to the top of its spire but second tallest measured to the roof.

Roof height : 275 metres or 902

Top floor and Observatory : 235 metres or 771 feet
