The Workers Corner
In the year of 1921 at the corner of Commercial Road and St. Vincent Street in Port Adelaide on a Friday thousands of people attended the ceremony to witness the unveiling of the completed Workers Memorial.
The Memorial was erected over a few years, 1918 - 1921 ( difficult times through the war delayed its completion. )
The Workers Memorial honour the men who made sacrifices on behalf of the citizens and the workers of Port Adelaide in the early days.
