The Supreme Court
The Supreme Court is situated on the corner of Gouger and King William Street Adelaide and accommodates the Supreme Court Library, judges' chambers, Probate Registry and other civil court rooms. There are no holding cells in these buildings.
The Supreme Court handles the more important civil cases and the most serious criminal cases.
The Supreme Court was established on 2 January 1837, five days after the colony was founded.
