Phalaenopsis Beauty
The Phalaenopsis Orchid is sometimes called the Moth Orchid as the flowers can look like Moths in flight.
The plants are native in southeast Asia from the Himalayan mountains to the islands of Polillo, Palawan and Zamboanga del Norte in the island of Mindanao in the Philppines also northern Australia.
Orchid Island of Taiwan is named after this genus.
