Hawaiian Love Heart
Hawaiian Love Heart (Antherium) So called because of it's large flat heart shaped flower. This exotic tropical flower originated in South and Central America. It now grows naturally in Hawaii and it often linked with romantic beach weddings. It is also now grown in Queensland, Australia.
This versatile flower is sometimes likened to an Artist's Palette because of it's one large petal, the spike a reminder of the artist's brush.
